WFS connectioniStatus is read from the WFS at the moment you run the check, so it is never stale. A check cannot pass without it: unconnected runs are capped at INCOMPLETE. A dropped status.csv lets the status-gated rules run for diagnosis, but does not unlock a pass.

Connect once; the check reuses it. iFiber Knight never writes your credentials anywhere. They live in memory and are forgotten on reload. Your browser may offer to save them in its own password manager, which is its store, not the tool's.
